I am going to study Vietnam for history. My teacher wants me to watch a film about it. I need a film that is true to the real life events of the war, historically accurate and shows how the lives of the people in Vietnam were effected. Preferably low amount of violence/ gore. Ive only really seen one small bit of the film but it really upset me and it actually made me cry no matter how hard i tryed to hold it back. I was watching Muhammad Ali's film last night and why were the US trying to force him to go to war with Vietnam. Surely in the "land of the free" he would be able to make that choice himself?
